Raising the Roof at the Archer Hotel
After our dinner at The Lion, we headed to The Spyglass for alfresco cocktails. Courtney was staying at The Archer Hotel for the weekend and suggested checking out the Spyglass rooftop. This location is relatively new, having opened two months earlier.
When we got to the roof, I noticed that it isn't large. Compared to other trendy rooftops (The Skylark), this is a wee bit tinier. There are several areas outdoors to sit that don't require bottle service, which is nice. The view is pretty damn nice!
After looking at the cocktail menu, I immediately knew I would order the Raspberry Caipirinha, made with cachaca, lime, raspberry and simple syrup. I used my DSLR camera and my iPhone to provide lighting. Doesn't it look so much more natural than using the flash? Love it!
I'd like to come back to check out David Burke's restaurant Fabrick. It looks delicious!
Cheers,
Liz
