Inventive Ice Cream Flavors
After our lovely happy hour at Rosa Mexicano, Melissa and I were in the mood for some ice cream and not just any ice cream would do! I heard a lot of great buzz about OddFellows, an ice cream shop that opened up its East Village location about 3 months ago (flagship in Williamsburg).

The flavors were unique and interesting - WHAT TO ORDER? I knew I had to get something that included Chorizo Caramel Swirl because...um. CHORIZO + CARAMEL? Yes please!

I love the monkey mascot of the store - adorable! When you check in on Yelp, you get a monkey pin. How cute?

I decided to go with the Chorizo Caramel Swirl and Saffron Passion fruit. This clearly wasn't decadent enough, so I topped it with salted caramel. I absolutely LOVED the Chorizo. It was balanced between salty and sweet - it didn't taste "meaty" but picked up the smokiness of the Chorizo. The Saffron Passion fruit was a bit too tart for me. It was a nice flavor but I would have preferred just the Chorizo!

The artwork is VERY appropriate. This is ice cream sent from heaven. You must go!
