Unexpected Bakery Find!
Prior to meeting Christine for dinner, I spotted an awesome bakery: Empire Cake! I always love trying new dessert spots. I checked Yelp to see what the community consensus was and it was very positive. I love the guidance and tips on what to order.
I knew I had to get the homemade Twix and one of the snack cakes! Check out the beautiful display of fresh baked goodies.
The GOODS
I ended up going with the Passion Fruit Snack Cake, made with yellow cake with passion fruit curd filling, dipped in white chocolate and sprinkled with coconut. I also got the homemade Twix bar - it has shortbread, caramel and chocolate. Yum!
