Visiting this Instagram-Worthy Bakery!
Whenever I find myself in an unfamiliar neighborhood, I check in on Yelp to see if I bookmarked any places in the area. Last week, I found myself right near Schmackary's and did what any sane person would do - went inside and bought WAY too many cookies!
The outside!
Based off of all the drool-worthy Instagram photos I've seen, I KNEW I had to get the Funfetti cookie. It's a sugar cookie topped with vanilla cream cheese frosting and rainbow sprinkles. It was my favorite by a landslide. It was buttery, moist and had the perfect celebratory taste without being overly "birthday cake flavor" which ends up tasting incredibly fake - eek!
COOKIES!
I got two other cookies: Sch'mores (honey graham base with toasted marshmallow and semi-sweet chocolate) and the Classic Chocolate Chip (semi-sweet chocolate with sea salt). I thought I'd love the Sch'mores one and did not like it - I think it was the honey graham base, just weird to me. The classic cookies was yummy!

I highly recommend stopping by for at LEAST the Funfetti! I can't wait to go back to try some seasonal flavors (Key Lime...HELLO?!)
