Surprise Performance from Dave Attell!
After dinner at Tao Downtown, we headed to the Comedy Cellar (http://www.comedycellar.com/). Typically the shows have a cover that is $15 or under (depending on the date and time of the show); since it was a holiday evening (MLK) , the cover was a bit more.
The venue also has another requirement that you must order a minimum of 2 items from the menu. The quantity is fixed but not the value, so you can get two cocktails or non-alcoholic beverages or even food!
The quality of the comedians is highly variable. Some were real hits and others were real misses. Dave Attell showed up to do a surprise set. He was a RIOT! The best act of the evening without a question.
