After Christine and I had brunch at B4 and enjoyed the Tompkins Square Dog Park Halloween Parade, we enjoyed a brew at Proletariat, a cozy beer bar with an impressive menu.
You can get half pours (4-7ozs) and full pours (8-14ozs) of the beers on draft. I love that feature! I was able to try a beer without fully committing to it...sort of like dating? Also, local beers (those with an asterisks on the menu) get a $1 off full pours. Gotta go local baby!

I don't view myself as a beer lover, but this bar could change my mind. The vibe is chill and you can take your time to enjoy a drink. The credit card minimum is $20, so keep that in mind. Also, no American Express is taken...wahh.
