Ava Lounge at the Dream Hotel
I just started my dream job (yay!) and it only seems fitting that I had an event this week at the Dream Hotel. A year ago, I was an intern and we had a similar mid-year celebration (the program is 10-weeks and this marks the 5-week point!).
I love the attention to detail with the specialty crafted cocktails highlighting Diageo's portfolio.
I kicked off the evening with the Fiery Dream - a spicy twist on a margarita. Some sips were WAY SPICIER than others - I've decided I'm a bit of a whimp on the spice scale.
The Sweet & Vicious shot was tasty but I only had a sip - need to pace yourself, especially at company events during the first week!
I'm a huge fan of bourbon, especially Bulleit. The Bourbon Apple was delicious - it reminded me of cider and the fall.
Diageo has a distribution agreement with Moet Hennessy, so we can enjoy that portfolio of beverages as well. What better way than with a Magnum bottle? This bottle is equivalent to two 750 mL bottles.
The evening was beautiful and a nice break from the humidity of the week.
This was a great way to kick off my return to the workforce. As always, make sure to drink in moderation :)
