$32 Gets You Unlimited Punch and an Entree

This past Sunday, I had a fun brunch with Aish at Millesime (http://www.millesimenyc.com/) a French restaurant/bar at the Carlton Hotel on Madison Ave.

The facade of the building is really striking - it is hard to miss its striped exterior!

Millesime features a Punch Brunch for $32. This price covers a choice of punch (unlimited) and entree. There are both sweet and savory options, but not many vegetarian options. Aish is a flexible vegetarian (she eats eggs, which makes this MUCH easier), so it wasn't a big deal, but keep that in mind!

We ordered both of the punches! I love lychee, so I drank more of the Elderflower Lychee Sangria than the Lemon Rosemary Vodka.

Aish ordered the Toulouse Sausage and Eggs (with the sausage on the side - eek meat!).

I traded her most of my home fries for her sausage. As you can see below, the sausage is absolutely terrifying. Is it a snake? Am I eating it...or is it eating me? After I conquered my fears, or rather my hunger did, the sausage was quite tasty!

I got the Eggs Benedict and they were fantastic. I'm really glad I went with this (typically) solid option! The hollandaise was very flavorful made and the poached eggs were the perfect consistency.

This brunch option is pricier than other unlimited offers in the city ($32 vs. $25). I felt that I got a good value since I ordered a heartier entree. I felt Aish, as the sad vegetarian, was a bit jipped. On the bright side, because there was no time limit, we stayed for several hours to catch up, enjoy the view, and drink the punch!

Cheers,

Liz
