No, not the President's Vacation Home!
This past Saturday, I helped my dear friend Miranda celebrate her birthday! When she mentioned people would be meeting for drinks at a bar I haven't gone to, Camp David NYC, I was even more excited (no website, http://www.yelp.com/biz/camp-david-nyc-new-york).
This East Village/Alphabet City bar opened recently and the owner is incredibly friendly; this is always a good thing! Since it was at night and in a bar, naturally the lighting was a bit challenging, but I still snapped some photos. I'm working on getting better at using my camera, but still messing around with settings for low-lighting settings.
I ordered one of the featured cocktails, made with vodka, Campari and some other delicious ingredients.
I thought the cocktail was excellent. Later in the evening, I ordered a Caipirinha and I thought that was very well made as well.
I attempted to take a good (or even non-blurry) photo of Miranda. This was not possible. I think this image more accurately captures the theme of the evening though and she still manages to look lovely.
Overall, the bar has a great neighborhood vibe. There is an open garden in the back with a good amount of seating. I'd consider coming back again!
Cheers,
Liz
