Welcome to Miami, Bienvenidos a Miami
Several weeks ago, I went to Miami for a work trip. Naturally, there were many fantastic meals. One of my favorites was at Meat Market, a happening spot in Miami Beach. We kicked off the meal with a rum drink. I don't remember what style cocktail this was, but it was delicious and beautiful!
We started off with some appetizers. My favorite was the char-grilled chimichurri oysters, served with lemon, roasted peppers, mixed herbs, garlic and hollandaise. SO DELICIOUS! We also had the tuna tartare served with ginger, soy, avocado smash and mango mole. Very tasty too.
For our entrees, we got the wagyu skirt steak with lemongrass, ginger and roasted chili and the sea bass with truffle mash, wild mushrooms, sweet corn, tomato concasse, truffle nage, and soy beans. We got bone marrow as a side which was deliciously rich and unctuous. Some veggie sides we got: crispy brussels sprouts, oven roasted beets, gouda tater tots and quinoa avocado salad. My favorites were the crispy brussels sprouts and oven roasted beets. YUM!
For dessert, we shared the Key Lime Cheesecake, served with watermelon sorbet and candied lime. Simply lovely.
If you're in Miami, check out this hot spot! Awesome food, cocktails and great service!
Cheers,
Liz
