Grabbing Bites & Brews in Financial District

I've been swamped with work, so it has taken several weeks to catch up on all my restaurant reviews! I made my way down to the Financial District to visit The Growler Bites & Brews. I have heard great things about it and my experience supported that!

We had a large group and ordered a bunch of shared plates vs. entrees. To kick everything off, we got the Kobe Sliders with Cheddar & Pickles. They were so yummy! Cooked to the perfect medium/medium-rare temp. Sometimes I prefer sliders to one larger burger. This was one of those nights. I highly recommend it.

Next up, the Korean Fries, loaded with bulgogi beef, kimchi and sriracha mayo. Hot damn, these were a show stopper! This appetizer requires a large group to share it! If you're a fan of Korean ingredients, this is such a unique interpretation.

Given all the rich appetizers we already ordered, why bother with a salad? We finished up with Bone Marrow served with relish and smoked sea salt. They were divine! After we finished this, I felt like we needed to be rolled out of The Growler!

This is a great restaurant! If you make it here, make sure to visit Underdog, a cocktail bar located in the basement. I had to leave our dinner early, so I couldn't check it out. Next time!

Cheers,
